"Sketchaday" 3... Tulip and Swallow...... just practicing for my manual

Trying to keep to one of my resolutions and that is to do a "Sketchaday".... but I have rules..... 1) Not to spend any longer than 2 hrs doing the sketch, 2) A4 dimension. 3) no tracings or pencil plan or layout 4) to paint straight on to the paper 5) not to think at all about anything .... as a doodle really.......

Today I used the reference of a gorgeous photo of a Tulip that I had..... and some swallows...... there is definitely room for improvement... but that can come later.......

This is also a practice for the plan that I am working on for the design manual...
