Wisteria Mural, New Interior project....

Most detailed part of the Mural
Hello everyone!...... I have neglected my blog and all my other on-line activities most recently. (apart from a little obsession with Pinterest)  this is one of the reasons why........ My new huge Mural, which is almost complete but I have decided that there are a few more details that I need to add...... however I thought that I would have the furniture put back in place and give you a sneaky peek of "Work in Progress"......... Apart from integrating with the colours which are in the fabrics and furniture already in the room I wanted to paint the mural somewhere between a Chinoiserie style and my own decorative, slightly stylised style. The entire painting has been painted using Farrow and Ball estate emulsion with touches of acrylic here and there. The overall size is 4metres long and 2.5metres drop from floor to ceiling...... which is quite a physical task...... however I have loved every minute of painting it as I prefer to work on a large scale...... I shall be away for the next few weeks but will post the final details and completed project as soon as I can........ bye for now!

Almost the full 4metre length..... still more work I think

A little of the Bindweed and Wisteria detail

Stylised Ivy and Dove detail
