Gorgeous Colours and Textures of the Water Avens....

A few more close up photos of this lovely but small little flower.... I discovered it when I was out for my walk this afternoon. What really caught my eye was the almost square shape of the main flower head, "nodding" down... I could envisage a stylised design created from this...... I also loved the golden/red/brown of the plant and the furry texture.........must add to deadnettle and dandelion docks for  future design inspiration
