Unfinished Allium with Sequinfern

Continuing with my Gibside series... I just though I would give a sneaky peek at the second painting which is still unfinished but I wanted to sit them together to see how they look. I intend the paintings in the collection to be similar in painting technique, where the main motif is decorative and detailed but the other motifs surrounding are more simple and sitting back into the ground a little.  I hope to finish the Allium today and I would like to do another one over the weekend.
