This morning the huge icicles were still hanging from our utility window and the sun was just coming up ... it was fab. A red sky just showing through the ice. .... This picture was taken a little later when the sunshine came out...... the dying autumnal floral bud that had not had a chance to drop before it became frozen.

The frozen end of Summer........reminds me of my frozen rose taken in the early part of the year where we had our first freeze for 30 years...... didnt expect it again so soon.
